In 2010, a leading home care franchisor needed to improve its business operations. They were using multiple management tools for their various processes, and the tools didn’t all integrate with each other, creating time-consuming double entry of data and the potential for lost revenue. After identifying inaccurate scheduling and management of paper documentation as two of their business’s biggest costs, they started looking for a solution that would allow them to manage the whole business in one place. They needed something that would not only improve home care business operations, but also would be affordable, intuitive, and easy to implement for franchisee locations.
The more they shopped around, though, the more discouraged they became. There were many products that provided SOME of what they needed, but there was nothing on the market that provided ALL of what they needed. That was when they decided to develop their own ideal software solution, and they joined hands with Netsmartz. Netsmartz team worked to gain a deep understanding of home care agency workflow and documentation needs. After months of brainstorming and mapping how the software should work, CareSmartz360—a home care focused software—was born.
